  • Birth 5 Sep 1807 Montgomery County, New York, USA
  • Death 29 Dec 1905 Royalton Center, Niagara County, New York, USA

He was the son of a Joseph LaBar who reportedly came to this country with Lafayette from Paris, France to participate in the Revolution. One source has his mother as Esther Marvin but that has not been substantiated. He married about 1831, became a prominent man in Niagara County and lived 98 years. However the Lockport, NY Union Sun of 9-16-1959 has an article saying he died in 1907 living 99 years.
