Our beloved mother,, grandma, great-grandma, sister, aunt and friend, Agnes S. Benson, died peacefully on Feb. 7, 1998 in Salt Lake City.
She was born on July 5, 1918 to Versal and Mary Agnes Shields in Lincoln, Utah. She married Ralph M. Benson on February 23, 1939.She will be greatly missed by her children, Norma (Sterling) Hanks; James R. (Susan) Benson; Beverly Cox; grandchildren, Kimberly Hanks; Kamryn (Kevin) Rose; Robb Hanks; Chad (Wendy) Benson; Eric Benson; Lisa (Dave) Foster; Tyler Benson; Brett Cox; Rae Cox; great-grandchildren, Spencer Li Rose; Kevin Gordon Rose II; Alyssa Morgan Cox; sisters, Ruth Pitt; Donna Dixon; Helen (Percy) Rivers; brother, Versal (Gay) Shields. She was preceded in death by two brothers and two sisters.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, Feb. 11th, at 1 p.m. at Tate Mortuary, 110 South Main, Tooele, with the viewing before services at 11 a.m. a.m. Interment, Tooele City Cemetery.
