Mrs. Rose S. Younglass, 71, of 629 Jackson St., Amherst, a licensed practical nurse, died in Lorain Community Hospital this morning. She had been ill the past five months.

She had worked at Shields Nursing Clinic for 15 years. Born in South Amherst, Aug. 22, 1906, she had lived in Amherst all her life.

Mrs. Youngless was a member of St. Peter United Church of Christ and was a charter member of the Amherst Eagles Auxiliary.

Surviving are a son, Richard W., and a daughter, Mrs. Donald (Dolores) Gullett, both of Amherst; four grandchildren and two great grandsons, three sisters, Mrs. Walter (Florence) Kiser, Clearwater, Fla., Mrs. Edwin (Myrtle) Sines and Mrs. Dwight (Dorothy) Standen, both of Amherst; a brother, Jacob Berger, Elyria. Her husband, William L. died in 1976.

Friends will be received in the Garland Funeral Home, Amherst, tomorrow from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.

Services will be Thursday at 1 p.m. in the funeral home. The Rev. Robert A. Happel will officiate and burial will be in Crownhill Cemetery.

The family suggests memorial contributions, if desired, be made to St. peter United Church of Christ Memorial Fund.
