William L. Youngless, 72, a machinist foreman at Nordson Corp. for 47 years before retiring in 1972 died yesterday at 5:41 a.m. in Lorain Community Hospital. He was ill six months.
A lifelong resident of Amherst, Mr. Youngless lived at 629 Jackson St. He was a member of St. Peter's United Church of Christ and was a 40 year and life member of Amherst Eagles.
Surviving are his wife of 50-years, Rose S.; a son Richard William of Amherst; a daughter, Mrs. Donald (Delores) Gullett of Amherst; four grandchildren; two great-grandsons; two sisters, Mrs. Robert (Loretta) White of Toledo and Mrs. Elmer (Gertrude) Sagert of Amherst and a brother, James S. of Amherst.
Friends will be received today from 7 to 9 p.m. and tomorrow from 2:30 to 4:30 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. in the Garland Funeral Home, Amherst, where the funeral will be conducted Wednesday at 11 a.m. The Rev. Robert A. Happel will officiate. Burial will be in Crownhill Cemetery, Amherst.
