Frances A. Glass, 85, died Sunday, May 9, 2004 at Renaissance Village in Fort Wayne. Born in Wells County, she was a homemaker. Survivors include daughter, Carol S. (Donald) Menze of Fort Wayne; sister, Marie Blow of Newton, Kan.; grandchildren, Susan (Shaun) Probert of Solon, Ohio, Amy (Chris) Spiritoso of Fort Wayne; great-grandchildren, Madison, Becky, Abby, Jessie and Katie. She was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence Glass in 1994; grandson, Brian Menze in 1966; sisters, Golda, Olga, Freeda, Esther; and brothers, Herman, Leonard, Wayne, Edward, and Benny. Service is 11 a.m. Saturday at D.O. McComb & Sons, Covington Knolls Funeral Home, 8325 Covington Road. Calling is from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Burial in Greenlawn Memorial Park. Memorials to United Mitochondrial Disease Foundation, 8085 Saltsburg Road, Suite 201, Pittsburgh, PA 15239.
