Luella Amberg
Funeral services were held on Saturday, February 20, 1988, at Bethlehem Lutheran Church, Elysian, for Luella Amberg, 77, of Elysian. She died on Thursday, February 18, 1988 at her home at the Waterville Care Center.
Services were conducted by Rev. Donald Gesterling and interment was in Cedar Hill Cemetery, Elysian. Pallbearers were Clayton Roemhildt, Raymond Block, Dale Berndt, Earl Flynn, George Strunk, and Randy Roemhildt.
Mrs. Amberg was born on April 14, 1910, to Arthur and Mary (Block) Roemhildt. She attended country schools in Elysian Township.
She was a homemaker during her lifetime.
On November 20, 1943, she was married to John Amberg at Iosco Lutheran Church. Mr. Amberg died on January 9, 1968.
Survivors include a sister, Leona Strunk of Janesville, and brothers, Harley Roemhildt, Waterville, Marlow Roemhildt, Elysian and Dale Roemhildt of Elysian.
Prosch Funeral Home of Waterville was in charge of arrangements.
