Blanche L. Seager passed away Tuesday, February 13, at her home in Blain, where she had been a resident the past eighteen years. She was a daughter of Jacob and Margaret Flickinger Seager and is survived by three sisters, Mrs. Sallie Willhide, of Carlisle, R. D.; Mrs. Florence Weaver and Mrs. Annie Adams, of Blain.
The deceased had been in ill health for the past ten years. She was a member of New Germantown Lutheran Church.
Services were held at the home by the Rev. Dean Feather on Friday morning, February 16. Many were the flowers of friendship memories.
Pallbearers were her six nephews: Culver, Dean, Banks and Lane Willhide, Leroy Dunkleberger and John Seager.
Those from a distance who attended the funeral were: Mrs. Grace Greaney and Miss Mary McKeehan, of New Bloomfield; Mr. and Mrs. Charles Wible and Mrs. Lottie Yoder, of Port Royal; Mr. and Mrs. Grover Miller, of Newville; Mary Briner, Mr. and Mrs. Cleo Willhide, daughter Ruby, and sons, Dean, Banks and Lane, of Carlisle; Mrs. Sallie Willhide and son, Culver, Mr. and Mrs. Leroy Dunkleberger, of Carlisle, R. D.
