Myrtle Cole Johnson, 83, died Friday, Dec. 9, in Washington Hospital Center, Washington D.C.
She was born in Wise County Va. the daughter of Ben and Helen Baker Cole. She retired a seamstress and was a Jehovah's Witness.
Survivors include Four Daughters, Ellen Windsor of Easton, Pa., Irene Turpen of Riverside,NJ., Inez McGrath of Cambridge, Md., and Ann Zuluaf of Essex, Md.; two sons, Jimmie Johnson of Street, Md. and R. P. Johnson of Williamsburg; Three sisters, Kathleen Sturgil and Sybil Sturgil, both of Wise, a. and Thelma Ross of Knoxville, Tn.; 13 grandchildren ; and 22 great-grandchildren. Graveside service will be conducted at 1 p. m. Tuesday at Peninsula Memorial Park.
