Obituary of Noel Ralph Pease
NOKOMIS - Noel R. Pease, 79, of Nokomis died Wednesday (Jan. 18, 2012) in Taylorville Memorial Hospital.
Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday in Stiehl-Dawson Funeral Home, Nokomis, with the Rev. Greg Breeden of Nazarene Church officiating. Visitation will be 4 to 7 p.m. Friday. Burial will be in Oconee Cemetery.
Noel was born Sept. 7, 1932, in Shelbyville, the son of Boyd and Vera Howe Pease. He was a farmer and construction worker. He was a member of Nazarene Church. He married Esta Tarrant on Nov. 10, 1952. She preceded him in death on Nov. 20, 2003.
Surviving are his children, Leonard (Patty) Pease, Raymond (Cathy) Pease and Dennis (Teresa Shellenbarger) Pease, all of Tower Hill; Dale (Opal) Pease, Calvin Pease and Bobby (Debra Silvey) Pease, all of Tower Hill; Sandra (Dereck "Rat") Jenkins of Coal City; siblings, Lester Pease of Harrodsburg, Ky.; Eleanor Askin, Naomi Gill and Dolores (Raymond) Shuff, all of Shelbyville; 18 grandchildren; 34 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife; one grandchild; two great-grandchildren
