Mrs. Fred Watts
A Well Known and Esteemed Resident Died Last Night

Mrs. Fred Watts died at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Nicholas Willick, north Walnut street, at 10 o'clock last night after a three months' illness with lung trouble. For the past week Mrs. Watts had been sinking rapidly and her death was not unexpected.
Before her marriage to Private Fred Watts at Indianapolis last July the decedent was Allie May Tilley. She was born at Bedford, Ky., and was in her 17th year. For a number of years she made her home in Madison and had a wide circle of friends who will learn of her passing with sincere regret. Her husband was called home from Camp Jackson, S.C., a week ago on account of her critical condition.
Besides the husband the decedent is survived by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Willick, and two half brothers, Gilbert and Francis Willick.
Mrs. Watts was a member of St. Michael's Church and Father Guthneck will conduct funeral services at 2 o'clock tomorrow afternoon. The interment will be in St. Joseph's cemetery, north Walnut street.
