Earl Stephen Williamson, 54, of Down Creek Rd., Brookneal passed away Thursday, November 15, 2012 at Virginia Baptist Hospital. He was the husband of Penni Scott Williamson. Mr. Williamson was born in Lynchburg, June 16, 1958 a son of Earl Braxton Williamson (Hazel) and the late Jane Lee Williamson. He was a member of Midway Baptist Church and a former employee of Southern Air.
In addition to his wife and father, he is survived by one son Ryan Carwile of Brookneal; three daughters, Corinne Hackworth of Fort Worth, TX, Brandolyn Ensor (Jon) of Charlotte, NC, Britney Rowles (Michael) of Lynchburg; three grandchildren, Isaac Barrington, Zelda "Zelie" Rowles, Colton Rowles; one brother, Terrill Williamson (Christina) of Brookneal; two sisters, Roxane Parks (Steve) of Mechanicsville, Leah Napier (Allen) of Brookneal; mother and father-in-law, Lewis and Jeanette Scott of Brookneal; a good friend, Barbara Hawks of Lynchburg; and his canine companion Peaches. A funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 pm Sunday, November 18, 2012 at Midway Baptist Church by the Rev. Joey Anthony with interment to follow at Union Hill Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2:00-4:00 pm Saturday, November 17, 2012 at Henderson Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Brookneal and at the residence of his father, Earl Williamson, Nowlin's Mill Rd., Gladys other times.
