Stephen, Jr. FREEMAN was born about 1720. He died about 1762 at the age of 42 in Hanover, Morris County, New Jersey. From the Freeman Families of New England: "On 24 March 1745 in Morristown, Morris, New Jersey he entered his covenant or was baptised as an adult at the First Presbyterian Church.
On 3 November 1753 in Morristown, Morris, New Jersey he joined the First Presbyterian Church. Died between 30 January 1762 and 9 March 1762 in Hanover, Morris, New Jersey.
In his will of 30 January 1762, proved 9 March 1762, he called himself "Stephen Freeman, Jr., yeoman of Hanover, New Jersey" and specified that his personal and real estate should be sold to the benefit of his wife Sarah and to help her to bring up his children. Sarah was named executor along with his brother-in-law, Matthew Fairchild."

Stephen, Jr. FREEMAN and Sarah were married. Sarah was born (date unknown). From the Freeman Families of New England: "On 11 January 1745/1746 in Morristown, Morris, New Jersey she was admitted to membership in the First Presbyterian Church.
Her surname has not been proven. However, since her husband, Stephen, had no known sisters, the fact that he named his brother-in-law, Matthew Fairchild, as his executor appears to indicate that her name was Fairchild. After her husband's death in 1762, the church records show that she moved away. She was probably the widow Sarah Freeman who was married to Joseph Winget at Morristown in December 1764. Winget was listed on a 1776 tax list as residing in nearby Mendham Township, Morris County, New Jersey."

Hezekiah FREEMAN-1207.
