Age 57, of Riverside, CA, entered into eternal rest on November 12, 2012 in Loma Linda, CA. Preston was born November 21, 1954 in Los Angeles, CA to Earl G. and Betty J. Scott. Preston was a Navy Veteran, receiving a National Defense Service Medal upon discharge. He was a certified underwater welder, trained in electrical engineering. Preston was a master carpenter and all around handyman. Preston is survived by his wife Vanessa; children Detra, Anna Rose, Nathaniel; six sisters Rosalind Dickey, Carol Skinner, Lynda Davis, Sandra Wright, Juanda Arline, and Shirley Martinez. He leaves a host of family and friends. He will be missed by all. Viewing will be Monday, Nov. 19, 2012 at Tillman Riverside Mortuary, 2874 Tenth St., Riverside, CA 92507 from 3pm-4pm. Interment at Riverside National Cemetery, 22495 Van Buren Blvd., Riverside on Tuesday, Nov. 20, 2012 at 10:30am. Published in Press-Enterprise on November 16, 2012.
