Our beloved mother, sister, and grandmother Karen Wilding Wing Jenks Bowers born November 8, 1936 to Orvil Wilding and Gertrude Birch and adopted by Leroy Wing passed away quietly on Sunday, November 11, 2012.

Karen married and divorced Rodger Jenks and married and divorced Arthur W Bowers.

She is survived by her sons, Steve Bowers, Orem, Kevin Bowers, Salt Lake City and Rodger Kin Jenks, Salt Lake City, 6 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, and 2 great great grandchildren, sister, Kay, Ohio; sister, Lillis, Idaho Falls and brother, Leroy Wing, Idaho Falls; and brother, Ronald Willis of Dixon, California. She is proceeded in death by her son William Bowers.

Karen was employed as a waitress, and fulfulled her dream by earning a bachelors of Science at the University of Utah. She enjoyed sewing, quilting, and crochet, as well as painting. Her friends and family will miss her strong spirit, kindness, and caring heart.

Karen will be buried at the Rigby Pioneer Cemetery Rigby, Idaho. A graveside service will be held in her honor, Monday, November 19, 2012 at 11:00am. Karen has requested in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the American Cancer Society.
