Susan married John Kenline on Feb 22, 1866 in Grundy Co, IL. They were the parents of 10 children: 8 died in infancy, George, and Myron Sylvester.

April 6, 1911 - Humboldt Independent - Susan Elizabeth Bull was born in Bradford Co., Penn., August 13, 1846. Her parents removed to Grundy Co. Illinois, in 1854. She was married to John Kenline in 1866 in that county and in August 1868 moved to Humboldt County, Iowa, settling on the place where she and her husband died so recently.

Ten children were born, eight dying in infancy. Two sons survive: Geo. A and M. Sylvester who live near Estherville, Iowa. She is also survived by 4 brothers: S.C. Bull of Latham, Kansas; A.N. of Gilmore City; and S.W. and A.A. of Humboldt.

She died March 29 at 9:25 in the morning after a brief illness terminating in a stroke, her death coming 2 months and 5 days after that of her husband which occurred on his son George's bithday. She grieved sorely for her husband and now lies beside him in the beautiful Union Cemetery.
