ZEBULON – Harold David Strickland, 75, died Thursday, with his devoted wife Betty Hunt Strickland by his side. A native of Nash County he was son of the late Edwin & Effie Cone Strickland. Harold worked for and retired from Southern Utilities in Charlotte, NC
In addition to his beloved wife he is survived by children; Joy Craig (Kenneth) and Ann Strickland, both of Rocky Mount, Monica Lockert (John) of Middlesex, Trellace Gaines (Roy) of Raleigh, & Charla Allen (Mark) of Rocky Point, siblings; Curtis Strickland of Henderson, Jerry Strickland (Susie) of Holly Springs, Margaret Rose Strickland and Doris Coats (Murray) both of Zebulon and grandchildren William & Ann Holden.
