Orean Aness Anderson, age 93, of Athens, AL, passed away on Thursday, November 15, 2012 at her residence. Mrs. Anderson was born September 12, 1919 in Cullman, AL, to Starling H. Earwood and Fannie E. Benefield Earwood.

Mrs. Anderson was a member of the North Side Church of Christ.

She is survived by her daughters, Kay Colvett and husband Bobby and Patty Anderson; sons, Tony Anderson and wife Betty and Gary Anderson and wife Kate; grandchildren, Kathy Norman and husband Max, Brent Colvett, Stephen Anderson, Colleen Tucker and husband Will, Adam Anderson and Grace Anderson; great-grandchild, Emma Norman; and sister, Dene West.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Karl K. Anderson; parents, Starling and Fannie Earwood; brothers, Amos Earwood and Lelton Earwood; and sister, Armon Earwood Whisenant.

Funeral services for Mrs. Anderson are Tuesday, November 20, 2012 at Limestone Chapel Funeral Home at 2 p.m. Burial will be in Roselawn Cemetery with Bud White officiating.
