A. Hinton Patrick, age 71, husband of Shirley Bradshaw Patrick, died on Wednesday, November 14, 2012.
A native of Oconee County, Mr. Patrick was the son of the late Guy Hinton and Juliette Montgomery Patrick. He was also preceded in death by his sisters, Matilda Adams and Rosella Hansford. He retired from James Ingram Construction Company as a carpenter, and was a member of Johnson United Methodist Church.
Survivors in addition to his wife include his daughters, Vicki Crawford, of Nicholson, and Barbara Denman, of Washington; sister, Annie Jane Savage, of Watkinsville; grandchildren, Patrick Gabriel, Chyreyl Garrett, Blue Hall, and Quest McCoy; and five great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Friday, November 16, at the funeral home.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, November 17, at Johnson United Methodist Church, with the Rev. Dan Fuller officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Flowers are optional, or memorials may be made to the Johnson United Methodist Church Cemetery Fund.
