Donald R. Crum, 74, Michigantown, died at 3:30 a.m. September 12, 1995, in his home.

Mr. Crum was a retired carpenter and had owned and operated the Avenue Inn since 1972. He was a member of Michigantown Christian Church, American Legion, Veterans of Foreign Wars, 40&8 and Beard Masonic Lodge. He graduated from Michigantown High School in 1940 and was in the U. S. Army in Germany during World War II.

He was born February 5, 1921, in Michigan Township to Clarence R. and Anna Doris (Avery) Crum. He married Meredith Schultz on September 17, 1947, and she survives.

Also surviving are two daughters, Evelyn Blevens of Lebanon and Ellen Crum of Kirklin; two brothers, Maurice "Bud" of Kirklin and Gene of Frankfort; two grandsons and one great-grandson.

A sister and two brothers preceded him in death.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday from Goodwin Funeral Home with the Rev. John Morris officiating.

Burial with military rites will be in Whiteman Cemetery.
