Wilford and a companion had tried out the craft and motor once and it sank...on a second attempt, this time by himself Wilford lost control of the boat and it overturned a few hundred feet offshore..
A group of searchers are dragging the lake today in an effort to recover the body
Wilford who came here several years ago from Thomasville, Ga is survived by his wife, Mrs Louise Wilford and three brothers Everette Wilford, Hubert Wilford, and Ralph Wilford all of Tallahassee, the Wilfords resided near Four Points on the Woodville highway
