HENRY S. BAILEY, of Upland Road, personnel manager for United Products for 15 years, retiring in 1990, died Monday at Steere House Rehabilitation Center, Providence. He was the husband of Ethel (Todd) Bailey.

Born in Woonsocket, he was a son of the late S. Burt and Madge K. (Snyder) Bailey, He was an Army veteran of World War II and a board member for the Union Cemetery Burial Society, North Smithfield. He was a member of St. James Episcopal Church and a longtime vestry member. He served as the junior warden and was a former member of the church's Senior Club and served as treasurer of the Nightengale Home.

Besides his wife, he leaves a daughter, Cheryl Bailey of Rochester, N.Y.; a brother, Sherman Bailey of Akron, Ohio; and a sister, Virginia McAllister of Fruitland Park, Fla.

The funeral will be held Saturday at 1 p.m. in St. James Episcopal Church, Hamlet Avenue. Burial will be in Union Cemetery.
