Mission – In Loving Memory of our beloved Isabel, who will be greatly missed by all who loved her. She was a wonderful mother and grandmother. Isabel Torrez, 84, entered into eternal rest on November 13, 2012 at Mission Regional Medical Center in Mission. She was born on September 5, 1928 in El Campo, Texas and was preceded in death by her parents, Antonio Reyna and Petra Zavala; two sons, Martin Abella and Rick Torrez; three brothers, Manuel, Antonio, and Juan Reyna; and two sisters, Emilia Palomo and Gloria Gonzales.

Mrs. Torrez is survived by three sons, Fred (Irma) Torrez from Elgin, Illinois, Arturo Abella from Mission, Alex Torrez from Elgin, Illinois; and four daughters, Sylvia Luna from Elgin, Illinois, Yolanda (Victor) Espinoza, Karen Gutierrez, and Alice Bustos all from Mission. She is also survived by one brother, Ismael Reyna from Schaumburg, Illinois; and 20 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, and 4 great-grandchildren.

Visitation on Thursday, November 15, 2012 from 1:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a rosary at 7:00 p.m. at Flores Funeral Home in Mission. Funeral mass officiated Friday, November 16, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Mission. Interment at Valley Memorial Gardens in McAllen.
