Eva's true name was Ever Dina Kempink. She was the daughter of Gerrit Jan Kempink and Hendrika (Henrietta) Feijkje Duenk, who are also buried in the same cemetery.

Ever (Eva) met her husband while sailing to the US. He was supposed to land at Wisconsin but after meeting Ever, debarked in NYC.
