ARLINGTON MAN DROPS DEAD AT COUNTRY HOME

JOHN D. BAME SUCCUMBS TO HEART FAILURE AFTER BEING IN GOOD HEALTH -- SURVIVED BY TWO CHILDREN

John D. Bame, aged 84 years, of Arlington, dropped dead at 4 o'clock Thursday afternoon at the home of his granddaughter, who lives on his farm near Arlington. He was visiting at the country home and after his noon day meal, started out to do work about the farm. He was apparently in good health at the time but when he returned to the house he was stricken with heart trouble and died instantly.
He moved to Arlington from his old home place, last spring, and since that time had been a prominent citizen of the village. A grandson, Orville Essinger, is at the present time in the trenches in France, having gone there last spring. He is survived by two children, Jaye E. Bame of Arlington, and Mrs. Henry Essinger.
The funeral services will be held Sunday afternoon at the English Lutheran church. Rev. Crouse will officiate and burial will be in the Arlington cemetery
