Retired Teacher
Mrs. Jessie Watkiiw Mraz. 82, widow of Wenvel T. Mraz and a retired Bridgeport teacher, died Wednesday in Fairfield Hills hospital, Newtown.
Services will take place tomorrow at 10 a.m. in the A.R. Abriola and Son funeral home, 2160 Main street, with the Rev. Benjamin Hammond, pastor of Bethany Congregational church, officiating.
Burial will be in Park cemetery.
Born in Cromwell and a graduate of Bridgeport Normal School, Mrs. Marz taught in local elementary schools for many years before her retirement.
Survivors are four sons Louis and Frank Mraz, both of Bridgeport, William Mraz of Westport, and Edward Mraz of Springfield, Mass., a brother, Frank Watkins of Bridgeport, a sister, Mrs. Daisy Hail of Stratford, 19 grandchildren, one great grandchild, and several nieces and nephews.
