FORT WORTH – Wilma Faye Walker Barber, 75, died
Aug. 7, 2011, in Fort Worth.

Memorial service is 2 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 11, at Normandale Baptist Church, 2001 Chapel Creek Blvd.,
White Settlement, Texas.

The daughter of James Eric Grady and Ruth
Williams Walker, Wilma grew up in Palo Pinto
County. She married Jerry Don Barber of
Mineral Wells, and the couple long resided in
the Burton Hill neighborhood of Fort Worth.

She had two daughters, and dedicated her
life as a loving mother and homemaker. Wilma
was known for her sweet and loving
temperament, cackling laugh, astute memory
for family anecdotes, but above all for her
love and loyalty to family and friends. After
the passing of her husband, Jerry, in 1996,
Wilma found a family of faith among the
women of God's Windows.

Survivors include her daughter, Brenna
(Stan); grandchildren, Jennifer, Brandon
(Emily), and Lindsay; great-grandchildren,
Canon and Brady; daughter, Joni (John);
grandchildren, Lauren and Paul; and sister,
Thelma Walker Gilley.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband,Jerry; and siblings, Bertha, Evelyn, Ruby and Grady.
