NAMPA — Genevieve L. "Dolly" Thompson, 85, of Nampa, died Monday, Feb. 1, 1988, in a Nampa hospital of natural causes.

Memorial services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, Feb. 5, at the Alsip Funeral Chapel with Rev. Kenneth Britt of the Nampa First Christian Church officiating. Private burial will be held later.

Mrs. Thompson was born May 27, 1902, at Tacoma, Wash., a daughter of Fred Langabeer and Rose Osborne Langabeer. She was reared and educated in public schools in Tacoma. She married T. Fred Thompson in 1925 at Tacoma, Wash. They later moved to Marsing where they farmed. In 1932 they moved to Nampa and continued farming in Marsing until their retirement. They had resided in Nampa since.

Survivors include two sons, Jack A. Thompson Sr. of Marsing and T.F. Thompson Jr. of Lopez Island, Wash.; 13 grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren. Her husband, parents and two brothers. Arthur and Edgar Langabeer died earlier.
