Jack Wrigley Jr., 66, a resident of Willow Gardens Care Center, Marion, died Tuesday, Sept. 10, 2002, in Mercy Medical Center, Cedar Rapids, after a courageous battle with cancer and with his loving family at his side. Services: 10 a.m. Friday, Sept. 13, at Murdoch Funeral Home & Cremation Center, Marion, by Bishop James Hecht. Friends may call at the funeral home from 4 to 8 p.m. today. Burial: Oak Shade Cemetery, Marion.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and three sisters, Wilma Hall, Bertha Fenton and Wanda Yarrington.

Jack was born the son of Bertha Millis Wrigley and JackWrigley Sr. on Sept. 3, 1936, in Marion, Iowa. He had been employed by the City of Cedar Rapids and was also a journeyman roofer for numerous companies. Jack was a member of Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Cedar Rapids.

Jack loved to fish and tell stories about his fishing experiences.

He was a loving father, grandfather and brother and will be greatly missed.
