Mrs. Anna C. Beauchesne, widow of Betram L. (Soup) Beauchesne, passed away Wednesday evening, Oct. 18, 1972, at Mercy Hospital, Bay City, following an illness of one month. Age 70 years. Anna C. McKenna was born Oct. 19, 1901, in St. Charles, and had been a lifelong resident of Saginaw County. She was married to Mr. Beauchesne Nov. 9, 1922. He passed away in 1967. She was a member and past president of V.F.W. Barracks No. 471 Auxilliary and the V.F.W. Post No. 1566 Auxilliary. She was a member of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church, and the League of Catholic Women. Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. Rosemary Comstock, Saginaw; six grandchildren; one great-grandson. Fourteen brothers and sisters predeceased her. She also, leaves many nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will take place 9:15 a.m. Saturday at the Case Chapel, 409 Adams St., 10 a.m. at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church. Rev. Fr. Charles Howley will officate, with burial in St. Andrew's Cemetery. Friends may call at the chapel from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday, 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 3 to 5 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday, where they will meet with relatives 8 p.m. Friday, to pray the Rosary.
