AMARILLO - Bonnie Lee Goodwin, 89, a seamstress and teacher, died Saturday, Nov. 29, 1997, at an Amarillo care center.

Funeral: 9:30 a.m. Monday at Mount Olivet Funeral Home. Burial: Mount Olivet Cemetery. Visitation: 7:30 to 8:30 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.

Bonnie Goodwin was born June 1, 1908, in Wolf Ridge, Cooke County.

Mrs. Goodwin had lived in the Fort Worth area from 1951 to 1974, and worked for A. Brandt & Company as a seamstress. She moved to Amarillo in 1974, and later to Mineral Wells in 1977. Mrs. Goodwin taught oil painting in both Amarillo and Mineral Wells. She was also a former school teacher.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Roy M. Goodwin in 1988.

Survivors: Son, Kelly Maxwell Goodwin of Dalhart; daughters, Neva Jeanine Ozment of Arlington, Sue Ella Mundy of Sugarland, Jennie Lee Veregge of New Paris, Ohio, Veda Gwen Treat of Amarillo; 11 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.
