Dies At 82

Funeral services for Maud(sic) Morrow, 82-year-old Hammon native who died Thursday, Nov. 23, will be conducted from the Hammon Church of Christ at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 27, with Albert Trent, Mangum, officiating. Interment will be in Red Hill Cemetery at Hammon.

Mrs. Morrow was born Jan. 29, 1880, in Butler, Mo., to Edgar Walls and Sanfiona(sic) Woodye Walls. She was married on Aug. 8, 1901, in Greenway, Tex., to Tom N. Morrow. He preceded her in death on Dec. 2, 1954, in Hammon.

Mrs. Morrow moved from Missouri to Johnsontown, Tex., in 1888 and to Oklahoma in 1902. She had lived in the Hammon area since that time.

She was a member of the Hammon Church of Christ.

Survivors include 2 daughters, Mrs. Lester (Birdie Lee) Brown of Oakland, Calif., and Mrs, Ed (Juanita) Pecinosky of Tipton; 5 sons, Ocie Morrow of Hammon, Woodye M. Morrow of Norman, Orville E. Morrow of Walnut Creek, Calif., Estie Morrow of Stockton, Calif., and Warren Morrow of Hammon; 1 sister, Mrs. Dollie Frazier of El Paso, Tex., and 1 brother, Woodye Walls, of Cleburn,(sic) Tex.

Funeral services are under the direction of Pecinosky Funeral Home of Tipton with local arrangements by Martin Funeral Home of Elk City. The body will lie in state until noon Tuesday at Martin Funeral Home.
