MEMORIAL SERVICE FOR THE WRECK VICTIMS

The committee of the Railway Mail association held a meeting last night and decided to conduct special memorial services Sunday afternoon at three o'clock in the Pilgrim Congregational church for the Spokane postal clerks who were killed in the recent wreck at Wellington. The bodies of Richard C. Bogart, John C. Tucker, Lee J. Ahren (sic) and George Hoefer arrived over the Great Northern yesterday at 2:30 o'clock.

The funeral arrangements for the bodies have been made as follows: Lee Ahern will be buried tomorrow at 9 a.m. from the St. Joseph's Catholic on Dean avenue. Father Decanter will officiate and burial will take place at Fairmount.

The funeral services of John C. Tucker will be held at 10:30 a.m. from Buchanan's undertaking parlors. Rev. Hindley will officiate and interment will take place at Fairmount.

George Hoeferd will be buried from the Smith chapel tomorrow afternoon at 2 p.m.

Richard Bogart will be buried from the family residence, 2004 Broadway avenue tomorrow afternoon at 2 p.m.

Although the above article gives his middle initial as J, his death record cites it as D. The Spokane city directory repeatedly listed him as Lee J. Ahern.
