Charlotte was born June 15th, 1929 in Wilkes Barre, PA and passed away in Vancouver, WA September 30th, 2012.
She was the mother to four children. Candi Shreve (Pete), Issaquah, WA. Paula H. Novak (James), Reno, NV. Preceded in death by two sons, Scott Craig Roberts and Michael Otis Roberts, both from Vancouver, WA.
She was the step-mother to Bonnie Harris (John), Vancouver, WA and Tobbie Leep (Roland), Lake Oswego, OR.
Owner and companion for 19 years to her beloved Silkie Terrier, Gemini.
Charlotte worked in the Legal field in Vancouver as an Office Manager, Legal Secretary and Bookkeeper with the Ken Weber Law Firm for 20 plus years.
Ever the athletic person, she was an avid golfer with her husband Herman Shelton and the two of them could be found at the Green Meadows Golf Course most Saturdays as the weather would allow. They formed long time friendships in whatever endeavor they chose.
She leaves behind 8 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
Charlotte had a wonderful flair for entertaining and decorating especially at Christmas, and hosted many dinners and gatherings for various occassions. Whatever the endeavor, she was lots of fun and had a vibrant, engaging personality and a wonderful sense of humor.
She will be deeply missed by her family and countless friends.
