Mrs. Schramm Dies Suddenly This Morning
Mrs. Marvin Schramm, esteemed Dawson lady, died suddenly this morning of an apparent heart attack at Terrell County Hospital where she had been taken a short time earlier.
Her death came as a shock to her family and a wide circle of friends here, throughout the county and this area.
Mrs. Schramm had been in ill health for some time but there had been no reported heart condition.
She was the former Betty Sue Sherrer and was an active member of the First Baptist Church. She had lived in the county all of her life.
Survivors include her husband, a daughter, Miss Suzanne Schramm, a son, Rusty Schramm, her mother, Mrs. Homer Sherrer of Shellman, and two sisters, Mrs. J. O. Phillips of Cuthbert and Mrs. Roy Thompson of Shellman.
Funeral services will be held Friday afternoon at 3 o'clock from Dupree Funeral Home with the Rev Richard T. Davis, Baptist pastor, officiating. Interment will be in Cedar Hill Cemetery.
