Services for Mark Edward Sutherland, 24, 2416 N. Montana, Caldwell, who died Wednesday, May 23 in Caldwell, will be conducted at 10 a.m. Saturday at Flahiff Funeral Chapel, Caldwell.
The Rev. Roy A. Green of the Canyon Hill Church of the Nazarene, Caldwell, will officiate. Private cremation will follow.
He was born Dec. 28, 1959 in Portland, Ore., and moved with his family at the age of three to Southern Idaho. He was reared and educated in Pocatello, and Caldwell, and graduated from Caldwell High School in 1979. He attended Northwest Nazarene College in Nampa and graduated in 1983. He has since resided in Caldwell.
He had an avid interest in electronics and computers and was involved in working with the sound system at his church. He was a member of the Canyon Hill Church of the Nazarene.
He is survived by his parents, Ted and Betty Sutherland of Caldwell; a brother, James, with the U.S. Air Force at Mountain Home; a sister, Debra Johnson of Caldwell; grandparents, Clyde F. and Ethel M. Sutherland, of Sandy, Ore.; two nieces, one nephew and several aunts and uncles.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents and one nephew.
Friends may call at the Flahiff Funeral Chapel in Caldwell today until 8 p.m.
