Charles Edward Aldrich Sr., 84, of Rogers passed away Sunday, Nov. 11, 2012, at Fayetteville.
He was born March 3, 1928, in Clarinda, Iowa, the son of Lester E. and Margie Heivilin Aldrich.

He served in the United States Army and was a teacher in the public school system.

Preceded in death by his wife, Mary Bodkin Aldrich; and brother, Jack Aldrich.

Survivors include three sons, Charles E. Aldrich Jr. and wife, Dawn, of Rolling Meadows, Ill., John Aldrich of Rogers and Jim Aldrich and wife, Andrea, of Rogers; one daughter, Diane Penton and husband, Pat, of Fayetteville; one brother, David Allen Aldrich of Arlington Heights, Ill.; three grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

Memorial services will be at 10 a.m. Friday, Nov. 16, 2012, at Beard's Funeral Chapel, with the Rev. Zach Underwood officiating. Cremation will follow.
