Jacob Appel, 76 years old, died at 3:50 o'clock Saturday afternoon at St. Anthony's Hospital. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Hannah Apple; two daughters, Mrs. August Schaub and Mrs. Edward Ernst; a sister, Mrs Carrie Markel; six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 2 o'clock Tuesday afternoon at the residence, 1947 Payne Street. Burial will be in Cave Hill Cemetery.
