DARIUS BRAXTON BRADLEY PASSES AWAY AT MIAMI, FLA

Darius B. Bradley, a former citizen of near Thomas, this county, passed away at his home in Miami, Fla., where he resided with his wife the past winter.
The remains were sent back to his old home county, arriving in Cynthiana this Thursday morning by train and were taken in charge by Bratton & Insko, local undertakers, the funeral being held at the Kentontown Christian Church, conducted by the Rev. Paul Hazeltine. Interment in the Kentontown Cemetery.
Darius Braxton Bradley was born in Nicholas County{now part of Robertson Co.} December~15~1865 being aged 78 years, 4 months and 18 days at the time of his death. He was a son of George Henry and Elizabeth Sparks Bradley and was united in marriage to Fanny Robinson on March~4~1890. To this union were born six children. Two died in infancy, Lannis and Herbert.
Those who survive are; Mrs. Earl McConnell of this county, Mrs. John Monson of Gallatin Co., Alva Bradley of this county and Maynard Bradley of Louisville. His wife, Mrs. Fanny Bradley, passed away July~23~1933. He was later married to Mrs, Molle Esham, who survives. He also leaves 19 grandchildren and 9 great-grandschildren, two sisters, Mrs. Mollie Reeves and Mrs. Ella Anderson of Boone Co., one niece, Mrs. Helene Mullikin and one nephew, Kenneth Anderson, of Boone Co. He also leaves three step~children, Mrs. Hazel Lawder of Sciotoville, Ohio.
Mrs. Steve Adams of Lexingtion and Miss Iva Esham, who is now in a Detroit Mich Hospital and two step-grandchildren
Mr. Bradley joined the Kentontown Christian Church at the age of 17 and remained a consistent member until his death. He was a good citizen, a kind and sympathetic husband father and friend, He resided in the Kentontown precinct most of this life-time and held in high esteem by all who knew him.
