Randall Bryce Edwards, 91, of Mulberry, Arkansas, died, Monday, November 12, 2012 in Mulberry.

He was an Army Veteran. He was a member of Mulberry First Baptist Church, a woodworker and an Insurance salesman.

He was born February 10, 1921 in Deer, Arkansas to William Isom and Fanny Axie Taylor Edwards.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Viola Lois Thompson and one son, Virgil Marcus Cates.

Funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM, Thursday, November 15, 2012 at First Baptist Church in Mulberry with Brother Delbert Randall Cates officiating with burial at 2:00 PM, Thursday, November 15, 2012 at Fort Smith National Cemetery in Fort Smith, Arkansas, under the direction of Shaffer Funeral Home.

He is survived by four daughters, Polly Hairston of Clarksville, Arkansas, Sara Leasure-Nelson of Mulberry, Randi Smith of Cave Springs, Arkansas and Kathy Cates of Mulberry; two sisters, Nina Braden of Limestone, Arkansas and Joyce Cervantes of Albuquerque, New Mexico; eight grandchildren and sixteen great grandchildren.

The family will visit with friends from 6:00 – 8:00 PM, Wednesday, November 14, 2012 at Shaffer Funeral Home 2315 W. Commercial in Ozark.

Pallbearers are Chris and Delbert Cates, Lance Leasure, Hobson Hairston and Jeremy and Korey Smith.
