Mr. James Timothy Yocum, 33, of Bardstown, passed away Sunday, November 11, 2012 in Nelson County.

He was born December 23, 1978 in Bardstown, attended Nelson County High School and was an avid reader of the Bible.

He is preceded in death by his father Charles "Chuck" Mattingly.

He is survived by his son, Dakotah Yocum of Cox's Creek, his daughter, Tori Yocum of Shepherdsville, his mother and her husband, Vicky and Brock Clark of Hodgenville and his former step father Charles Yocum of Bardstown, 2 brothers, Charlie Yocum and Travis Yocum both of Bardstown, one sister, Samantha Yocum of Bardstown, his maternal grandparents, Carol Streight of Cox's Creek, Jimmy Girdley of Nelsonville, his paternal grandparents, Jackie Mattingly and Polly Clark both of Bardstown. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.

Visitation will be Thursday, November 15, 2012 from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm with a memorial service at 6:00pm with Reverend Karl Lusk officiating at Clark and Houghlin Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be made to the family in Timmy's memory. Clark and Houghlin Funeral Home and Cremation Services is in charge of the arrangements.
