Edward Junior Wall, age 86, of Franklinville died Monday, November 12, 2012 at his home.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, November 15, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. at the Pugh Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Frank Barrett and Rev. Aaron Powers officiating. Burial will follow in Randolph Memorial Park.

Mr. Wall was born in Randolph County on September 13, 1926 to Charles Henry and Lottie Allred Wall. He was retired from Hadley Peoples after 40 years of service. In addition to his parents, Edward was preceded in death by his son Richard Eldridge Wall, 3 brothers, and 2 sisters. Edward loved farming and his family.

He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Lucille B. Wall; daughters, Linda Hall and her husband Robert of Asheboro, Debbie Garner and her husband Stan of Asheboro, Vicky Leonard of Asheboro; sons, Larry Wall of Asheboro, Dwight Wall of Asheboro, NC, Jerry Wall and his wife Lora of Asheboro, Mark Wall and his wife Paula of Asheboro, Bruce Wall and his wife Jean of Asheboro, Kerry Wall of Franklinville, Charles Wall of Franklinville; 22 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; brothers, Dewey Wall and his wife Judy of Graham, Earl Wall of Asheboro, Wayne Wall and his wife Nancy of High Point.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, November 14, 2012 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Pugh Funeral Home, 437 Sunset Avenue, Asheboro, NC.

The family would like to express a special thanks to Wendy Medley and the entire staff of Hospice of Randolph for their care and concern during Edwards illness.
