** I do believe that Alfred's birth year on his grave marker might be incorrect. On the Oct 1850 census it list him as being 2 years old, while Isabella his sister was then only 2 months old. Not sure if he was born in 1848 or 1849. Arthur, his older brother though has census records of being born in 1848. Therefore, it is confusing as to what is the correct birth year for Alfred.
