Edward Briegel To Be Buried At Lyon Lake
---Edward F. Briegel of Chicago died at Community hospital in Battle Creek this morning at 5:00 after entering the hospital on March 5.
---He was born November 11, 1881, in Tekonsha township, the son of Christian F. and Caroline (Fousel) Briegel. He spent most of his life in that vicinity attending the Herron rural school in Fredonia township.
---In 1943, he married Alice Clark in Chicago where they had since resided.
---He is survived by his wife, Alice; a half-sister, Mrs. Nola Grey of Tekonsha; a half-brother, George Britten of East Leroy; and several nieces and nephews.
---Friends may call at the Court funeral home where services will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. Rev. Ralph Johnson of the Maple Grove church will officiate. Interment will be in Lyon Lake cemetery.

Funeral services for Edward Briegel of Chicago, who died Thursday morning at Community hospital in Battle Creek, were held today from the Court funeral home with Rev. Ralph Johnson of the Maple Grove church officiating. Paul A. Humiston was the organist. Interment was in Lyon Lake cemetery. Bearers were: James Gray, George Britten, Lawrence Briegel, Arthur Laing, and Gene Briegel.
