Frank Joseph Krob, son of Frank and Anna Krob, was born in Republic county, Kan., on November 6, 1889, and died at his home near Cuba, March 15, 1950, at the age of 60 years, 4 months and 9 days.

He spent his entire life on a farm southwest of Cuba. On September 6, 1910, he was united in marriage to Barbara Havel and to this union were born four sons and a daughter.

Preceding him in death were his mother, who died when he was seven years old, his step-mother and his half-sister, Anna.

Mr. Krob was a member of Z.C.B.J. lodge No. 52 of Cuba for 35 years. He was a kind and loving husband and father, enduring great pains to relieve the suffering of others. His fondness for his grandchildren will not be forgotten.

Survivors include his wife and five children, Will, Ben and Edward of Cuba, Frank R. of Belleville and Mrs. Viola Hawel of Narka; nine grandchildren, his aged father, Frank Krob, sr., of Cuba, a brother, Charles of Cuba, two sisters, Mrs. Emma Shepek and Mrs. Mary Krasny of Wayne, a half-sister, Mrs. Frances Mottl of Cuba, and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services were held Friday, March 17, at 1 o'clock at the home, and 2 o'clock at the Presbyterian church, Cuba, with the Rev. Stephen E. Yemm and Joseph Krhounek in charge of the service. Burial was in Kopsa cemetery.
