Elsie Dell Sanders--

Final rites for Mrs. Elsie Dell SANDERS, 79, R.R. 3, Rochester, will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Grossman funeral home, Argos. Rev. Frank HIGHLEY, of the Grandview church, will officiate and burial will be in the Richland Center cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home.

Mrs. Sanders died at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday in Woodlawn Hospital, where she had been a patient since last Sunday. One week following the death of her husband, Henry F. [SANDERS], last October 9, she fell and broke her hip. Since then she had been hospitalized part of the time, the remainder being spent at the home of her son, Vern SANDERS of this city.

She was born near Argos, March 25, 1875, to John D. and Laura Dell McGRIFF. She was married on April 28, 1874, to Henry F. SANDERS and all of her married life she resided in Fulton county. Mrs. Sanders was a member of the Grandview EUB church and the ladies aid of that church.

Survivors are two daughters and one son: Mrs. Blanche OVERMYER, of near Argos; Mrs. Glenn ZENTZ, of Argos; Vern SANDERS, of this city; two brothers, Edward McGRIFF, Argos, and Albert McGRIFF, Rochester; fifteen grandchildren and twenty-one great-grandchildren. Two sisters and one brother preceded her in death.
