CHESTER -- Betty A. Klein, 74, passed away at 2:25 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 8, 2012, in Memorial Hospital in Chester.
She was born Nov. 13, 1937, in Jackson County to William St. Patrick and Ada Jane (Smith) Popejoy.
Betty married Delbert Klein Nov. 8, 1958, in St. Mary's Catholic Church in Chester. He survives.
She was a retired housekeeper for Randolph County and Chester Mental Health Center.
Betty was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Chester.
Survivors include her husband, Delbert Klein of Chester; one daughter, Lisa Klein (Kevin) Morgan of Chester; mother-in-law, Dorothy Klein of Chester; four sisters, Mary Jane Guy of Campbell Hill, Vera Cross and Wilma Cross, both of Ava, and Donna Searcy of Versailles, Mo.; three grandchildren, Brandon (Allison) Lingle, Nathan (Paige) Lingle and Samantha Lingle; and one great-granddaughter, Avrie Lingle.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers; two sisters; one granddaughter, Amanda Lingle; and father-in-law.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 15, in Pechacek-McClure Funeral Home in Chester. Interment will be in St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery in Chester. Visitation will be from 9:30 to 11 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
