Mrs. Winnifred Madden, second wife of Jerome Madden, Sr., and his widow, died last week Tuesday of paralysis. She was buried last Saturday morning from the Catholic church. Waseca County Herald 3-29-1907 Winnifred Boylan, second wife of Jerome Madden, married 9-28-1886, died 3-21-1907.

Mrs. Winnifred Madden died at her home in the west part of the city, Tuesday at 1:45 p.m. after a short illness of progressive paralysis. She was born in Galway County Ireland, in 1883. When but a young girl she moved to Canada where she was married to Patrick Boylan in 1850. They afterwards moved to Detroit Mich. where they were living when Mr. Boylan died. She then went to St. Louis where she resided about 15 years. She was married in 1890 to Mr. Jerome Madden of this city who died about 12 years ago. She has been cared for the past couple of weeks by Mrs. Johanna Boylen, a daughter-in-law, whose home is in St. Louis. The funeral was held Saturday morning at nine o'clock from the Catholic Church and interment was made in the Catholic cemetery.
