Edmund T. Woolley of Oakland street died yesterday morning from a general breaking down of the system. He had been sick a long time. He was born at Poplar 83 years ago and wa a son of Joseph and Hannah Woolley. On April 29th, 1848, he married Miss Palmyra Riddle of Oceanport.

Mr. Woolley spent most of his life at Shrewsbury, Oceanport and Red Bank. He had lived here the past 22 years. For many years he was engaged in railroading and was at one tome superintendent of the Sandy Hook dock. He had also seen service as a baggage master and an express agent, and had held other railroad positions. He was a staunch Republican. For ten years he was a justice of the peace at Red Bank. He was also engaged in the real estate business while in Red Bank.

Mr. Woolley leaves eight children, they being Mrs. William Taylor, Mrs. Joseph White, Mrs. John P. West and Mrs. Walter Hennessey of Long Branch, Albert Woolley of Matawan, George Woolley of Roselle, Charles Woolley of Manasquan and Samuel G. Woolley of Red Bank. Five other children have died.

The funeral will be held Friday afternoon at two o'clock at the house and will be conducted by Rev. W. B. Matteson. The burial will be at West Long Branch.
