Kenneth Delroy Ross, Jr., 70, of Irvine, California, formerly of Modjeska Canyon for 40 years, went home to be with GOD on March 1, 2008. The eldest of 3 sons, he was born to Delroy and Bonnie Ross from PA.

He moved with his family from PA to CA in 1952. He attended Woodrow Wilson High School where he met his future wife, Carol Fee. Ken and Carol were married in 1959 in Lakewood, Ca and later moved to Orange County where they raised 2 boys, Michael Kenneth Ross (Rancho Cucamonga) and Randal Brian Ross (living with GOD).

After High School, Ken worked for Menasha Corporation and Harter's Co., until finding his calling in the dairy industry, where he spent the next 28 years. He first worked for Excelsior Creamery in S.A. and when the company sold, he was hired at Adohr Farms in S.A. where he was a Distribution Foreman. He retired in 2004.

When the family moved to Modjeska Canyon in 1965, they raised pigs, cows, chickens, goats, sheep, rabbits, etc. They had 2 horses and Ken rode in gymkhana with the Modjeska Mavericks. Ken was also on the Modjeska Vol. Fire Dept. for 22 years and was Chief for 6 yrs.

He enjoyed being a wonderful handyman, horseback riding, bowling, etc., just an all around fun, dearly loved person.

He is survived by his wife, Carol (Irvine); son, Michael; brothers, Robert and Dennis (Stockton); sister-in-law, Brenda Ross and Colleen Heilman; numerous nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.
