THOMPSON, Ernestine R., 81, of Gainesville and Plant City, Florida, entered into eternal rest on November 10, 2012. She was a member of Plant City's First Baptist Church, and a retired Hillsborough County Teacher's Aide. She was preceded in death by her husband Gerald Thompson. She is survived by children Yvette T. Elkin (Martin) of Seminole, Teenge Hinson of Detroit, Michigan, Danny Thompson (Gayle) of Lakeland, Nannette T. Dell (George) of Gainesville, and Jim Thompson (Sangai) of Charlotte, North Carolina; 13 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and beloved dog Jack. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, November 14 from 6-8 P.M. at Hopewell Funeral Home, 6005 CR 39 S, Plant City.
